Baptism Day

It’s time for your little one to get baptized! Make the day extra special with a custom designed baptism package! Each package includes an invitation, a program, a set of notecards and a memory book!

When planning a baptism for your child, one of the first things you need to do is get some photos done! You will use these photos on the baptism announcement and your memory book. If you are having a brunch or luncheon after the baptism, you can also put a few in some frames and display them there as well! So don’t wait to get the photographer booked …. their schedules fill up quickly!

Once you have received your photo gallery back from the photographer, it’s time for me to get started on the baptism announcement! Typically, I like to view the photos and then design the announcement around the photography. I prefer my designs to coordinate with the photos of your child — it always looks so much better when both elements look like they blend seamlessly together.

Typically, you will have more than enough photos of your child so in order to maximize the amount that we can use on the announcement, I like to have a main photo of your child on the front along with the text and details about the baptism. Then on the back side, we can put a gallery with multiple photos!

Next up will be the program …. This will be custom designed to coordinate with the baptism announcement. It will have a similar look and the colors and other design elements will be the same. Keep in mind that each Ward/Stake does handle Baptisms differently. But most of the time I can provide you with a general idea of what information you will need to gather and guide you through all of that!

Your Baptism Memory book will have a cover photo with your child’s name and their baptism date! It will be filled with 20+ pages to help your child (and you!) remember fun facts about their baptism day.

Some of the pages include the baptismal covenant, a place for their handprint, a page to write their favorite things, and a spot for them to write down their thoughts about being baptized. Plus so much more! And don’t worry — several pages for more photos too!

The last item in your baptism package will be the set of note cards. These are for your guests to write their testimony or a special note to your child. Truly one of my personal favorite things to have at the baptism. It’s so fun to read through these cards later during a quiet moment after the celebration has died down — you can get the notecards bound or clipped together or keep them loose.

If you don’t need all of these items mentioned above, that’s ok! We can design just the items that you are interested in.

If you have a baptism coming up in your family, I would love to create some beautiful custom designs for you! Feel free to contact me and we can discuss the details!

Thank you to Alisha Shaw Photography for these beautiful images — you are always so great at capturing my work and I am grateful for your talents!
